Which certifications cover the specific market my product serves? If you are building medical electronics, ISO 13485 is mandatory. If automotive, IATF 16949. Do not accept a generic "we have ISO 9001" as sufficient for regulated industries.

Can you support prototype through volume production on the same line? The ability to start at low quantity and scale without re-qualifying the process saves months. Confirm whether their equipment and process controls remain consistent from single-piece prototypes to large batches.
