3. Equipment specifics. Ask for placement-machine brands and models, reflow-oven zone count, inspection equipment types (SPI, AOI, X-ray, ICT, FCT), and maximum board sizes supported.
4. PCB capability range. Confirm layer count range, material options, minimum line width and spacing, minimum aperture, and surface-treatment processes available.
5. Quality standards referenced. IPC-A-600H for PCB acceptance and IPC-A-610 for assembly workmanship are the baseline. Ask whether these standards are actively enforced or merely listed on a brochure.
6. Traceability. Barcode or serial-number tracking from incoming components through each production stage to finished-product shipment.
