2. Component sourcing uses authorised channels. Ask whether the procurement team works with authorised brand agents and distributors — and whether incoming quality inspection (IQC) is performed on every lot. A partner that buys from grey market channels and skips IQC is not protecting your supply chain.
3. DFM feedback happens before production. A genuine turnkey partner reviews your design files for manufacturability before the first board goes to print. Solder-bridge risks, pad-size mismatches, and panel-layout inefficiencies surface in engineering review, not in yield loss reports.
4. Test and protection are integrated, not outsourced. If the same facility runs AOI, X-ray, ICT, FCT, thermal imaging, conformal coating, and low-pressure injection moulding, the quality loop is closed. If any of those steps ship out to another vendor, the loop has a break — and breaks are where field failures enter.
5. Capacity spans prototype through volume. From a single prototype piece to medium and large batches, a real manufacturing partner scales without changing the process discipline. Ask about minimum order quantities and whether the same production line handles both.
